The Campaign Appeal Board is a group of dedicated individuals providing the National Museum with high level external endorsement, support and guidance to bolster the New Royal Marines Museum fundraising campaign. The Board meets quarterly and is comprised of senior serving and ex-serving Royal Navy and Royal Marine personnel and industry representatives.

Lieutenant General Sir Robert Fulton KBE

Rob Fulton joined the Royal Marines in 1972 and left in 2006.  He commanded 42 Commando RM and 3 Commando Brigade RM before being appointed Commandant General Royal Marines 1998-2001.  His last appointment was as Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff for Equipment Capability 2003-2006.  Thereafter he became the 63rd Governor of Gibraltar from 2006 to 2009.

In telling all aspects of our story, the Museum will impress on each generation the past, present and future contribution of the Royal Marines to so many aspects of public life of the United Kingdom.
